Browser storage can be cleared
The browser may reclaim space or you may clear site data. When that happens the studio cannot recover your work. Download a backup before clearing data, switching browsers or replacing this device.
You own the copy
Export a JSON backup or a text-based PDF at any time. Backups are plain files; you can restore them here or keep them anywhere you choose.
Passphrase-encrypted backups
You can encrypt a backup with a passphrase using AES-GCM. The passphrase is never stored. If you forget it, the backup is unrecoverable — there is no reset and no recovery.
The studio works offline after the first load. No telemetry, no analytics requests, and no third-party scripts run in the editor.
